Well, it seems it was just a day ago that we finished the show, and yet it has been over a month! Competition season has come and gone, and it was another great year for the Catamount Marching Band.
The band just wrapped up it's competitive season last Saturday at the LaFayette Marching Classic at Fayette Co. HS. The prelim and finals performances were our best yet, and it has been many years since the Catamount Band has been performing at this level.
The band was 2nd in class, and 2nd overall. This is the highest overall placement that we have earned in quite some time. The Finals performance was truly inspired and the band and I will always remember the outpouring of emotion immediately following the show.
